Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

This policy explains what information QR Code Review Boost ("we", "us") collects when you use this website at https://qr-code-review-boost.com/, why we collect it, and what choices you have. If anything here is unclear, contact us on the contact form.

Who runs this site

QR Code Review Boost is operated by Rodney, based in Cape Town, South Africa. You can reach us on the contact form.

What the QR code generator does with your data

The QR code generator on this site works in your browser. When you paste a Google review link and generate a code, the link is processed on your own device and the resulting image is created there. We do not receive, store, or log the links you enter, and we do not keep copies of the QR codes you download. We keep a single anonymous number of how many times Generate has been used. That count is not tied to you, your device, or the link you pasted.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the time of your visit, and the site you arrived from. This is used to keep the site running and diagnose faults.

Cookies

This site does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not display ads. Our hosting provider may use cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver the site, and may record the server logs described above. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. In South Africa these rights fall under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA); in the EEA and UK, under the GDPR. To make a request, use the contact form. We will respond within a reasonable period, and within any timeframe the applicable law requires.

How long we keep information

Contact form messages and email correspondence are kept for two years so we can refer back to previous conversations, then deleted. Server logs are kept for 30 days. We do not retain the review links you paste into the generator.

Children

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site — currently our hosting provider — and only to the extent needed for those services. If we add advertising or analytics later, we will update this policy first.

Links to other sites

The QR codes generated here point to Google. Our site also links to Google Business Profile, Google Maps and other external pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to, and we suggest reading their policies.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
