What this site does

The site provides a free tool that converts a Google review link into a QR code image, which you can download and use.

Using the QR codes

QR codes you generate here are yours to use, including for commercial purposes. You can print them, display them, and include them in your own designs and marketing material at no cost and with no attribution required.

The codes are static: the destination you enter is encoded permanently into the image and cannot be changed afterwards. If you need a different destination, generate a new code.

Check before you print

You are responsible for the link you enter and for the code you produce. Before printing or displaying a code, open it and confirm it goes where you intend. We strongly recommend scanning the finished code on both an Apple and an Android device before committing to any print run.

We are not liable for the cost of reprinting, or for any other loss, arising from a code that encodes an incorrect, mistyped, or outdated link.

Acceptable use

You may not use this site to:

• Encode links to malicious, fraudulent, or illegal content, or to material that infringes anyone's rights
• Create codes designed to impersonate a business, mislead people about where a scan will take them, or facilitate phishing
• Overwhelm, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure
• Scrape, automate, or resell access to the tool without our written permission

We may block access to anyone who breaches these terms.

Google reviews and review policies

If you use a code generated here to collect Google reviews, you are responsible for following Google's own rules. Google's policies prohibit offering incentives in exchange for reviews and prohibit selectively soliciting only satisfied customers. Businesses that break these rules can have reviews removed or their profile penalised. This site does not screen or filter customers, and we ask that you do not use it as part of a process that does.

No affiliation with Google

This site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Google LLC. Google, Google Maps and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC, referred to here only to describe what the tool works with.

QR Code is a registered trademark of Denso Wave Incorporated.

Availability

The site is provided free of charge and we make no promise that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, suspend, or discontinue it at any time. Because the codes are static, codes you have already downloaded will continue to work regardless.

No warranty

The site and the codes it produces are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this site, including lost profits, lost business, or the cost of replacing printed material. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to ZAR 1,000 or the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Our content

The text, design, and code of this site belong to us and may not be copied or republished without permission. This does not apply to the QR code images you generate, which are yours.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
